Leslie Goldberg's Biography
Leslie S. Goldberg, M.Ed. CEP is the founder and President of The Goldberg Center for Educational Planning™. She has spent nearly 40 years working with children at all levels of education, including learning disabled, gifted and talented, underachievers, special needs and non-traditional students as well as average students in need of guidance. She has built the practice with her reputation of ethics and extraordinary support for the parents. She has maintained contact with many of her “old” clients who now are adults themselves. Leslie is a certified guidance counselor, a Certified Educational Planner (CEP), has sat on numerous boards, advised on education policy and has served as expert witness in several cases in addition to having built numerous credentials and affiliations over the decades. Leslie graduated from Simmons College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education before earning a Master of Education degree in Counseling from Bridgewater State College. She is certified to administer and interpret the Wechsler Intelligence Scales and the Stanford-Binet tests and is trained in the administration of several career and interest inventories. In private practice as an educational consultant for 22 years, Leslie has personally visited over a thousand schools, colleges and special programs, and continues to visit dozens of campuses each year. Leslie participates in a variety of civic activities outside of work in addition to exploring interests in travel, music and culture and is a voracious reader when she has the time. She and her husband are proud parents of three sons and two grandchildren. Their dog keeps things active at home. Leslie's primary office is in The Goldberg Center for Educational Planning™ in Braintree, Massachusetts. She also spends time at the extension office in Hingham, Massachusetts.
