Adele Williamson's Biography
Adele R. Williamson, Founder of Collegiate Advisory Placement Service, received her BA from Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University. She has been a professional volunteer and consultant to Student Life Divisions Administrators at over 300 hundred colleges and universities in the United States. She is a former member of the National Women Deans Counselors and Administrators and has been a program presenter at their National Conferences. She has also been an affiliate member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators and the Association of Fraternity Advisors. Adele is a Past Chairman of the National Panhellenic Conference as well as Past National President of her National Women’s Fraternity. Her leadership skills and community missionary spirit have served many different organizations and causes. She has lived on many college campuses and understands the students, campus atmosphere, faculty, and administration as well as the mission of hundreds of colleges and universities. Adele has been a frequent speaker and presentor at conferences and seminars. In her work with students, she stresses the value of community service and assists them with writing grants to support service projects they initiate. She was named Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University Alumna of the Year for Community Service in 2010.
